Anyone get depressed when you have the flu.

Going on 6 days now sick as hell. Sore throat, swollen glands, extreme body aches and chills. No puking or diarrhea thank goodness. Only been eating like 2-3x per day. Weight is only down a few lbs and I'm flat but sometimes I walk past the mirror and look at myself and say "hey have you ever even gone to the gym once in your entire life." Lol. Feeling about 50% better today and want to hit the gym so bad but I know if I do I'll get a relapse. This is brutal!!!!

Haha yea for sure I feel like a worthless bum when I'm sick, I try to pretend I'm not sick and it just sucks more! Whenever I'm sick I always think "man I sure took the way I felt for granted when I wasn't sick".

Being sick is frustrating, considering how hard we work to better ourselves.
It's too easy to take for granted life when we feel healthy.
You'll be better soon, and everything will come back quickly.
Just get healthy.

Yeah! I think it's normal to get depressed when you get sick and also when you get injured.

The only good thing whenever I get a virus like this is I never get diarrhea or puke. I absolutely cannot eat clean when sick. I'll usually have a couple complete cookies with milk when I wake up. Maybe a bowl of cereal for Lunch and I'm hungry around dinner so I'll eat pizza,tacos,etc... I cannot get fat either when sick. Maybe it's cuz metabolism is faster or something but that's a plus. I think maybe when I'm better I'll do a few light days to get myself back into the swing of things and maybe take advantage of being depleted and do a little 2-3week clean bulk to add some muscle.
