Anyone get sick right after a show?

I'm in with the suppressed immune system idea. I've gotten very sick 3 times right before a show... sick as hell on stage, trying not to break out in a coughing fit during prejudging, snot running down my upper lip but can't even wipe it off, much less blow my nose, dizzy, weak, nauseous and couldn't eat enough, etc. The best I ever looked I was so friggin sick I shoulda been in the hospital.

Same boat...

Shelby my man, I have been sick like you since I got back too..sucks but I had a slight inflamation of my lymph nodes behind my ears which my TMJ does not help but doctor said weak immune system and such so I am sure the doctor will hook you up.

Take care and rest bro that is what I have tried to do ...

you may have sleep apena and not even know it. this could cuase problems cuase your not getting enough rem sleep. i know alot of guys get this post show sleep apena can cuase a early death if your over wieght and you have it all the time. Proper sleep is king to your health and bbing.

yah had same thing happen last show.

I thought it was probably associated with the water manipulation process. I thought due to my throat and sinus possibly getting dry in combination with immune being down that somthing got damage and infected.

took like 2-3 weeks to go away. let us know what the doc says

Saw the doctor this morning - he thinks it might be "tracheitis". He prescribed amoxycillin and also Mucinex.

I'm already feeling a bit better.

Rest Shelby, stay away from the gym for a couple of days.
I know its a hard thing to fathom....I HATE not training. But you
dont want this to get any worse than it is.

I've been training since I got back last week and the doctor agreed it was fine to do so. Thank you though!

Did you fly? I always get sick when i fly. I started having the same symptoms you did on the Monday after the Jr nats. Im still feeling a lil "Not right"but getting better after about a week.

Hang in there. i usually get sick about 2-3 weeks prior to a show. guess it just depends if your body can fight it off or not.

I did not fly, I drove. I don't think I ever went over 84mph.

I've been there and done that.

Now if someone posted up a Pic that was when I was VERY outta shape 6 weeks after a Pec tear surgery, I can see why people are giving the hate.

I just got prescribed a zpack real bad lower respiratory infection.. I feel so weird its 95 degrees out and im coughing things up and sneezing.. people look at me like wtf?

Get better!
