Anyone here have bad anxiety and panic attacks?

Had my first attack 10 years ago. Scariest experience of my life. Thought it was over. Had some here and there for next several years. Over the last 3 years or so, they occur more often. I hate it. Im to the point where I get anxiety about having an attack. I know im not the only one. Any suggestions as to how to help with this. Ive never told a doc bc im worried about the stigma associated w this. Id appreciate any hel9.
 
I have horrible anxiety. I have had attacks and been to hospital thinking heart issue. I'm prescribed xanex and it works

Tell your doc. There are many things you can do too. One, if you take a valium or similar med when you have an attack and the attack goes away. Then you know you have an antidote and this will make you feel like you can beat the anxiety if you want. Then you wont fear the next attack. Also look at what situations create the feeling and learn how to feel in more control in these situations. You can make this better. Telling you doc helps too. My primary care doc says the majority of his patients see him for anxiety issues. I also see people medicine lists all day. About 50% of people have some sort of mood helping drug on their list. It doesnt mean they take them all the time but a lott of people use them without guilt.
 
Maybe look into a prescription for medical marijuana depending on the state you live in it's very easy to get a prescription for. I would opt for that over prescription medication. That and counseling, talking to someone can do wonders.
 
I have mild anxiety - most of my family on my father's side are - and i got a few panic attacks over the year. I can relate to it being the worst experience of your life as I too thought it was over for me. Doc prescribed me Lorazapam barely used as i dont like the zombie feeling.

Stay away from EQ, my worst panic attack happened 6 weeks into a test and eq cycle. I can run high dose test no problem but eq played a number on me.
 
I suffered from self induced panic attacks (mary Jane) that eventually started occuring on their own once I stopped smoking when just like you said, id start thinking about them. I contiplated seeking help but had no insurance at the time. I eventually recognized the signs of an impending attack and found different ways to help me cope with them. I found eating bread helped me out(no noke) and when I got real desperate I'd talk to someone, explaining exactly what was occurring at that moment and how it all began basically slowed my mind down enough to realize that what was happening wasn't real and that it was all in my head. Idk everyone is different but this helped me through a tough year or so. Even to this day I'll get a little paniked but I'll do everything in my power to never be a slave to the pharmaceutical companies

I used to smoke mj as it helped w it. Then suddenly I began getting wotse anxiety after smoking. Have since stopped obviously but I found it strange that something prescribed for anxiety made mine worse.
 
Ive been having it bad lately. I cant take any stimulants, not even coffee
 
Also ive learned to recognize when its happening and can somewhat calm myself down before a full blown attack hits. But those pre attack feelings happen more and more often. That alone is beginning to consume my thoughts. Just hate it.

Tren affected me too. I think the two drugs are of a similar structure.

Ill admit I smoke a lot of weed for many years. This can help to both increase and decrease anxiety. Also sativas are uppers and indicas are downers. Sativas are known to create anxiety. Setting and other factors can make or break weed for anxiety.
 
Any particular strain you found best for anxiety?

In the evening I find mixing half super indo and half red vein Thai to completely eliminate anxiety so I can relax and sleep better. Bali is very good too.
In the morning I use Maeng da for its energy effects. The cool thing is unlike traditional energy supps it actually reduces anxiety.

Absolutely! Low dose is the way to go. It doesn't take much to completely change your outlook on life to where you stop thinking about the things that could go wrong, and you actually just go out and live life with a feeling of hope, motivation, and confidence.

I happen to have 4g red vein I received as sample. What dose would you suggest starting with?
 
I've had some anxiety over my life time. I've had it happen when stressed or serious issues and I've also had it pop up for absolutely no reason at all. My family doctor is so conservative he's failed to help me treat it.
 
Yes kratom is fantastic for anxiety.
But it is still only controlling it rather than fixing the issue.

What are you anxious over?

I personally have always been a slight hypocondriac.
Combine that with having had atrial fib at age 25 and now i can't go a day without having my wife take my pulse to make sure it's regular.
Ridicules I know but that is my form of anxiety.
 
High dose EQ . like 900 or so. Couldn't sleep ; worrying about trivial things. Head was all F'd up.
