Anyone know about Usnic Acid
I was reading about it over at another board - no info, just a teaser. It's suppose to be anherbal equivalent. Dan Duchaine studied dnp and said this substance would mimic it and created a product but he passed away before it took off.
The bro that posted this said he tried it and lost 4 inches off his waist in 3 weeks and 15 pounds of fat!

I read on another link (have to find it) REAL doctors (you can even call them up on the phone) who destroy all of Brocks negative points about Usnic Acid and they show from a scientific point of view how good and safe it is.
And guess who will have it as one of their products soon? Yep, Synthetek

this stuff sounds interesting.

Compare to DNP
I have DNP. How would Usnic Acid compare? Would it actually be better? And DNP dosages get up around 800mg per day. What are the high doses of Usnic?

I've heard that it should be taken at least 500mg ED to be effective. But I'm all ears as to more info. And, that website that's posted has the best price I've found to date also.

That site is a crock of shit. It's no way that there is 500mg of REAL Usnic Acid in that stuff. 70mg/day will give you almost unbearable headaches if you use REAL usnic acid.

I got of hold of a wholesaler who said that for fat loss, a min of 500mg was necessary (this was a couple of weeks ago) - they were selling bulk powder in the high 90% for purity. I "just" found out about the http://www.usnicacid.com site the other day and voila - 500mg.
The stuff is not cheap!

Usnic Acid has a very low bioavailability. If you look at the original Syntrax product Lipokinetic it contained Sodium Usniate.
Comparing the two would be like comparing Side Cordifolia and Ma Huang 8%. Now if I gave you an ECA stack with 250mg of Ma Huang 8% or 500mg of Side Cordifolia which would you pick. Both contain Ephdrine but the Side is just under 1% ephedrine so 500mg would only give you 5mg.
The same case applies with the Usnic Acid. If you go back and read the articles on Lipokinetic the purified Usnic Acid did not show any increase on BMR. They later found out the other ingredients in Kombucha Tea raised the bioavailability of the Usnic Acid. Once they isolated the ing. that was responsible for this they made the changes to create Sodium Usniate. So to have a pure Usnic Acid one would have to consume very large amounts to get any results and that is even questionable.
From my understanding the Sodium Usniate and other components that make UA very bioavailable will be used in the Synthetek product. I was also informed that this product should be released in the very near future.
