Anyone notice Strength Levels Vary on HRT?

Ive been on doctor prescribed HRT for about 2 years now (age 34), taking 100mg once per week. I normally feel great on this amount but i DO notice my strength levels and pump in the gym vary. Some weeks the pumps in the gym and strength is CRAZY, and itll last for 2-3 months and then for the next month ill have literally NO pump in the gym and my strength levels are just sad.

So for 2-3 months ill have great pumps and energy...then for 4-6 weeks next to no pumps and little strength. And the cycle keeps repeating. Anyone else have similiar issues? Why could this be? Has me scratching my head:yeahthat:

Maybe its just your CNS being fried, more off days or rest? Usually when my strength dips like that and I havent changed anything in a while its time for an extra day or two off from the gym.
 
I'm on TRT as well, but that's besides the point. I will typically take a week off from the gym every 2-3 months to allow my CNS, joints, ligaments, tendons to recuperate and rest. I remain active by doing fun outdoor activities to keep my body moving and shift my food intake since I'm less active. After a week, I have a fresh mindset, and my body is rested for another go.
 
Have you been consistent with your diet? If I slack off even slightly with my nutrition because of other things going on I definitely notice my training takes a big hit.

That sounds like excellent advice and im suprised i totally forgot about my rest week...dooh!! I usually take a rest week once every 3-4 months and im always refreshed right after. It seems like I have classical signs of overtraining...Ive been dieting the last 16 weeks, and working out hard...so i think thats what did it. Ill take next week off...for sure!!:headbang:

Ive been consistent to the T with my diet the whole 16 weeks except for 1 week (a few weeks ago)...that set me back a few weeks. I actually noticed my strength and pumps start to take a slow nosdive the last few weeks..MAYBE that had something to do with it, but probably the fact that I havent taken a rest week in the last 16 weeks of dieting ..dooh!! :lightbulb:
