Anyone remember this - Cybergenics crap?

i am not sure of the actual story, but i will post what i have heard. there was brand of supplements from the early 90's called cybergenics. i was in high school then and there was no internet to search for information - so my training knowlede was limited (i was only a kid!) i heard about cybergenics and decided to check it out. well cybergenics stuff was total crap. i remember right before their demise - a person sued and the prodcut actually had this disclamier printed on the box - 'Warning this product does not work in New York City'. can u image reading that - its doesnt work in NYC? i thought that was a hilarious testament to the crap products that some companied make. how could it not work in NYC? is there some magical aura that prevents muscle growth around manhattan? cant stop laughing here. if anyone knows the whole story i would LOVE to hear it please post

I actually tried both the 60 day system and the phase one kits back in the day, early 91 to be exact, and I did actually make gains on the systems *BUT* they had very specific dietary and training protocols that you had to fulfill, so would say that the reason I gained had to do more with keeping to a schedule and pounding down some serious food. I never became a national champ like Santoriello did, LOL

That's it exactly. It was the first thing that ever worked for me. But it was the regimen... I don't even remember what the supps were. That's how good they were.

I remember cybergenics. One of the leading chemists for them now is one of the top guys at Gaspari and in charge of raw materials, formulation and many other aspects of the company

I remember CYBERGENICS...the diet was horrible and the supplements were like horse pills.

Man I hate to admit this but in 90 when I had just started competeing I went and did a photo shoot for them. It was in Toms River NJ And they gave you all kinds of free stuff if you did before and after shots. They wanted me to not shave and stay out of the sun before the first shoot and then 8 weeks later they had me tan and shave then put a lighter back drop behind me. Damn my boys still break my balls since I actually ended up in one of the advertisments.I hardly ever post and this is gonna kill me

in my opinion anyone who has achieved the level where you are asked to be a 'poster boy' deserves some respect - even if it was for cybergenics

Those two worked though! Best OTC produced for fatloss! The local supplement stores couldn't keep them on the shelf. Until Syntrax was sued by people claiming the usnic acid in the lipokinetics cause liver failure.

HAHAHA such memories I was natural back then and afraid of anything but creatine and glutamine. How would that stuff compare to clen nowadays? Was it mainly just usinic acid in those that made it work so well?
