Anyone See Better Results Training Arms On Their Own Dsy?

Always train arms on own day, bro split keep it simple. The only question is to superset or not.

Anyone do chinups on arm day as a bicep exercise? I feel like we isolate them too much and a functional compound movement is needed for better growth

A lot of very advanced guys are moving to a Push/pull/legs split 4/5 times a week.

More frequency. And some recent studies suggest after 7-10 sets of a bodypart in a day ends up being junk volume as MPS will not be further stimulated any higher
 
I do have an arm day, it is more effective for me. I also hit my arms 2-3 days per week, but t those other sessions are high rep, supersets just to get a great pump, get the blood in there. Those take maybe 5 minutes at the end of my workout.
 
Bicep is not stressed that much during pullups . N1 has done numerous emg studies on this, plus you don't want a fixed wrist when training the biceps anyway

Damn, I guess it shows mostly lats? What is the reasoning against the fixed wrist? It just doesn't get activated, or are they saying it creates a high risk of injury? I know athleanx says they are a great bicep exercise and is a fan. Not saying he is the end all alot of his stuff is too complicated, but he does seem to have a good grasp of anatomy.

I respectfully disagree. If I pull with my arms chin-ups absolutely torch my biceps While leaving very little activation on my lats. Also I’m going to take Skips word on this one. It’s important to remember different people do movements differently. I’ve never had fixed wrists give me any problems when pulling or curling.

I don't think you are going to build a peak very effectively without some isolation
 
I always thought a peak was more if a genetic thing. If you built a peak you would be reshaping a muscle.
People say things like that but when you spend a couple months focusing on the peak vs. not doing so, you will notice a difference.
