Every morning with breakfast.
I was reading that the aspirin should be taken at night as aspirin has a 12 hour half life and most heart attacks occur in the morning...anyone have any thoughts on this?
Knight brought up a good point.
Studies have shown a baby aspirin a day to reduce the incidence of all cancers by as much as 1/3. To get the benefit you must have used it 5 years +. Another cancer benefit is that aspirin inhibits cancer metastasis by interfering with the COX-1 and COX-2 pathways. Just as aspirin inhibits blood clotting, cancer cells also have a harder time sticking to platelets and traveling throughout the body.
I was reading about guys donating blood because Hematocrit can get high on cycle and was curious if daily use of baby aspirin would be beneficial on cycle for your blood to stay healthy? Thanks
You guys got me to start my baby aspirin regimen tonight. Will be doin one a.m. and one p.m. :headbang:
I am bumping up to 2 a day also. I had the Mrs. pick me up Bayer coated...so yes first thing in the AM and one before bed. Long story short my Dad had his 2nd heart attack at 58 years old 5 years ago or so and the cardiologist said if it were not for his daily regimen of Aspirin it could have been worse. At that time my Dad was taking 2 Regular Bayer Aspirin I think in fear due to all his years of smoking cigs, drinking and eating shit food.
Donate blood as often as I can and it helps keeps my iron below a 45
