Yes I personally have. It's a good thing to try especially if you've hit a plateau. It's best to always try and confuse the body because it adjusts so fast.
I've found that going heavy every week is too hard on my joints and has lead to injuries. Alternating every week or every other week has worked well for me.
GotTren? is right, your body adapts really fast, changing things up always helped me break through plateaus and kept me growing... and my joints don't hurt as much anymore.
