anyone use DIM for estrogen control?

I was thinking this could be useful.

DIM (Diindolylmethane)
DIM (Diindolylmethane) is intended to reduce your undesirable “BAD” estrogen metabolites, reduce your estrogen dominance, increase your libido, assist in losing weight, improved your fat metabolism, improve your muscle to fat ratio, help your appearance by creating a leaner you.
 
i've used it when i used to run a hrt dose of test. it will not replace an AI, but it does help me in the leaning out department. i am a naturally lean person, but have always had trouble staying cut on any dose of test-- unless i run a ton of aromasin or letrozole and completely zap all estro and kill my lipid profile. DIM let me use a lower dose of AIs, and not get too bloated.


the other trick for not bloating on test, is to cut your starchy carbs. if you substituted broccoli and cauliflower for your carbs, you would get a natural source of DIM, and much less bloat.

well yeah, cut out the carbs and BOOM there goes aot of water, and you switch over to fat burning...but its also very hard to gain muscle without full glycogen levels... so you gotta keep SOME carbs in there...depending on how fast your body depletes glycogen..

plus u get some extra fiber
 
i used Natures Way DIM plus. it seemed the most legit.

here is a link to info. you can get it at vit shoppe for cheaper, so i wouldn't bother ordering it online

i do think it has some benefit... just don't rely on it as a primary AI
 
i took 3-4 a day.

they talk about this stuff a ton on anabolicminds male-anti-aging forum.

i saw a difference, but then i was also using a very low dose (betw 80-200) of test a week. i still bloated on anything over 150, but it was less pronounced with the DIM

it is an interesting discussion. i think it explains why some people handle test well, while others get a bit of bloat and fat gain from it.
