Anyone use HCG only for low T?

Just curious if anyone on here has any experience using HCG to raise Test levels long term. The reason I ask is I've been on HCG 1,000 iu's 3X per week from my fertility dr to try to raise sperm levels. But it obviously is raising my test levels as well.
When I started, I tested around 400 and had all the symptoms of low test. 4 weeks in, I was over 600, 2 months later almost 900. I definitely feel better, much better. Would there be any reason that I couldn't do this long term? Once my wife gets pregnant, I was going to go on TRT, but wonder if this could be an alternative. Thanks for any input.

Yea its called desensitizing. Your doc at those doses should not run it past 4-6 weeks .

Thanks for your input. So, basically it will start losing its effectiveness over time? He actually wrote me at 1,500 iu's 3 times per week, but I scaled it back. The intent is for me to run it indefinitely. Should I scale it back to 500 2X per week like trt guys do?

Even low doses in the long-term wouldn't seem sufficient for TRT purposes. Eventually you would need to add test.

This study seems to suggest that low dose HCG may be all that is needed to produce T normal levels. I haven't found to many studies on this. I have been using it to augment my T levels while injecting T. I know of one well known Dr. that has some of his guys on HCG at around 100 i.u./day with good results long term. But blood work and your own personnel experience will be the judge of that.

Why not run 100mg of long ester test shot twice a week w/ 500iu shot twice weekly
Run hcg bi monthly to keep fertility so every other month hcg

Well right now test isnt an option as I'm actively trying to improve my fertility. I always fully expected to go on test full time, it's just that this hcg is working SO well, I began to wonder. I'm going to see how this goes, I really dont have anything to lose. Worst case is I need to go on test, which is what I planned to do anyway. After this kid I dont care about maintaining fertility.
