does anyone use directly from a 50ml or bigger jug without a rubber stopper?
hypothetically, if you couldnt transfer for a while... and you sterilized the whole surrounding area, would it be "safeish" ? i know some guys that do, and they seem fine...just a question, all hypothetical.

I know some people do and they are fine. But IMO, I would guess it could cause problems the longer you use the same container. Opening and closing and using the same container 30-60 times just increases the chances of a problem (and contaminating a lot of gear!)

My bad. I never thought of boiling the air or dousing it with rubbing alcohal to sterize it. I'll have to try that.

Still waiting for the 10ml vials to come in.

So I pre-loaded what I was going to need for 3 weeks just to be on the safe side. That way you dont have to keep opening and closing the container for each pin, and the pre-loaded syringe isnt sitting around for too long..

i have been dosing straight outta the jug for my last two cycles.

as long as your clean and make sure to keep everything sterile you should be fine.

i've had a few 60ml vials laying around for awhile now , i just never get around to tyransfering.
it just seems like it would be very time consuming.

mine as well transfer next time around since i;ve got all the stuff that i need....

LOL, just messing with you bro. as some people have said, its an "okay" thing to do, but it really isnt optimal. IMO, its like having a shake instead of a steak its acceptable, but not the best choice.
please be sterile, and give me a call if you need anything.

Not going to happen. You aren't going to "sterilize" the surrounding area. Make it cleaner? Sure. Make it sterile? Not a chance.

BUT you can make it as safe as possible for sure. Just be smart about it. If it were me, I'd transfer ASAP. But using it a few times straight from the jug, I see no issues. Just use your damn head.

do you guys think preloading enough syringes for half the cycle, or perhaps even the whole cycle, in order to minimize the time the contents of the jug are exposed to the air would be a better idea than just drawing from the jug once a week?

Some guys draw straight from the jugs for years and never get any infections. Some transfer and take all the precautions, yet still get infected. In the end, there are so many variables, but in my mind, taking the little time that it does to transfer to sterile vials is worth a little peace of mind. However, it's still not a guarantee.
