anyones upper back/traps sore

past few months ive grown..my backs always been one of my strongest and well developed bodyparts and since ive grown traps get really tight like on shoulder day, sometimes chest day, and back day, since i space these days out traps /lower traps very sore

tried foam rolling the out and such, tried a tens unit to loosen them up

Now I feel for Dorian Yates, (if his get tight as mine do , as ive grown)....as big as his traps were
 
Have this issue as well. Had to quit doing direct trap work but they're still one of my better body parts. Don't really have any advice to give but I feel your pain, literally.
 
My upper back and traps get sore like this too, but only on tren. Taurine solved the problem for me.
 
I don't do any direct trap work, but everyone loves my traps. I dead lift heavy. From that my traps grow but are rarely sore.
 
Traps are more prone to develop trigger points than any other body part. Look into trigger point treatment techniques.

Deadlifts stimulate my traps more than direct trap work does. Heavy farmer walks too.
