Simple, easy, effective, and cheap. I seem to be having success with this. Just applying a 1:1 ratio of apple cider vinegar and filtered water topically with a cotton ball and it really seems to be working very well. I haven't been using any other cleansers, moisturizers, or topicals I had prescribed from the dermatologist. Refined ACV won't work the kind you want is organic, unfiltered, unpasteurized, and has "the mother." Braggs is the brand I use and can be found at most grocery stores for cheap, got it for less than 4 bucks for 16oz which lasts a while. You can use it on your face, chest, have your gf apply it on your back. If you have very sensitive skin you can adjust the ratio of ACV to water. Hopefully this will help someone else. :)

What kind of acne?
I noticed with cystic acne (from tren) nizoral 1% shampoo helps with that. As well as petguard antibacterial spray lol.

Interesting, when and how often do you apply it?

Just using this for mild to moderate acne, but I had what looked like might have been a small cyst brewing on my jawline, applied some of the acv topical and the next morning it was lighter in color and just about flat. I try to apply it once in the morning and once in the evening, sometimes only in the evening. I would see how you react to it first before leaving it on over night because it can potentially irritate your skin.

I used to use cetaphil cleanser and spot treated with rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or differn 0.3 cream prescribed by the dermatologist, but those all dried out my skin and I would need to use moisturizer. Might still be in the honeymoon phase with the acv topical, but it seems to be more effective and less drying. There's a good bit of information out there if you google apple cider vinegar for acne.

I know this thread is old but I wonder if anyone has tried magnesium sulfate? My back looks horrible and I want to try taking bath with this salt. Not sure how often, how much... Anyone

To update this I stopped using the apple cider vinegar as it was making my skin very itchy. :(

I don't know if it does anything for acne, but that's otherwise known as an epsom salt bath (if you didn't know already) and I totally recommend it to absorb magnesium efficiently. Very relaxing.
