Arnold suing Musclepharm?

Arnold Schwarzenegger is threatening to crush the company he says jacked his image to sell cheap nutrition products ... according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

Schwarzenegger claims the Arnold Nutrition Group slapped his name and photo all over its products -- things he would NEVER endorse because they haven't been subjected to rigorous testing.

Arnold makes it clear in his lawsuit ... nobody gets his endorsement unless he BELIEVES in the product ... and unless he gets paid for the full value of his name and reputation.

Arnold says the company is defrauding the public. He wants at least $10 mil ... but he hasn't asked for a total recall. Yet.

While I'm not a huge fan of suing and obtaining money, I'm actually happy about this if it's true.

Once I saw Arnold's photos on the products I just thought to myself oh god now he's selling out to some supplement line. Just gained a little respect back for arnold hopefully the reasoning for sueing is for that reason that he really wants to believe in the product and not some other bs

Arnold worked hard to 'brand' himself, so if they indeed tried to capitalize on that without his permission, then they deserve that kind of penalty - IMO.

There's too many people trying to capitalize by copying or straight up stealing ideas from successful people, rather than being innovative, that it's getting annoying lately. Lightning and crew know what I'm talking about.

I think Arnold feels he owns the name "Arnold", just like Lou feels he owns "Ferrigno" and the color green.

Thanks for the correction. Never even came across this brand before. I'm sure he will deplete their company dry.

As for Musclepharm, keep going strong. They've really climbed fast in the supplement industry.
