Arrhythmia and melanotan

A couple of years ago I developed a heart arrhythmia while taking test (200mg a week) and melanotan. I had atrial flutter and I had an ablation to fix it. I just recently started wondering if the melanotan had anything to do with it since I noticed it is listed as a side effect.

Has anyone else had heart rhythm problems while taking melanotan? Thanks

Melanocytes may have a role in triggering atrial arrythmias (see https://www.jci.org/articles/view/39109). Given that Melanotan is an analogue of melanocyte-stimulating hormone, it is plausible that it could trigger arrythmias in those susceptible to it.
