Gregg valentino always talks about the heavy duty method from Arthur jones … sounds brutal, one set would last upwards of 5 minutes, I guess it would be good for a shock routine but not year round for most people. I think for most people doing 12-16 sets per bodypart going close to failure on all sets with maybe one set to failure is plenty, in the long run its better for longevity and the joints after all this is a marathon not a sprint. To each their own though
