What is something you have learned from this forum that you never knew nor thought about trying? But after trail and error, you are now better/bigger than you were prior to becoming a member here.

Being here for years I have learned so many things.
I think the number #1 thing would be just how important
nutrition really is in bodybuilding.
 
Hell , I don't know where to start.

I wish I had found this place when I was just getting serious about hard core training
 
I learn things everyday the members here are great and extremely helpfully here unlike other places. I would seriously have to agree with everyone though the amount of Nutrition experts here is nothing short of amazing and helpful.

Plus i used to use a lot of AAS when i cycled now i stick to 500-600 mgs of test and eat clean but large amounts of protein and i grow better than ever plus look better without using almost a gram of less gear...
 
I have to agree with Alin....NUTRITION is #1. But i never thought i would ever hire a nutritionist/trainer off the net. As of today i have used 3 in the past 4 years. This is the best decision i have made. Taking all the guess work out of the most important aspect of training. All i have to do is train and not think (Which is a huge bonus for me),:D
 
Id have to say a LOT...Using AI's, and which one, dosing more frequently etcetera. But I guess mostly about ancillaries. AI's, Proviron, Prami (which I have yet to use). So far these things just make my life and cycles waaay easier. And consistent diet practices. This place is a gold mine and a life-saver!
 
What i have learned

I found this site by doing a google search on Phil Hernon.

You see, the first bodybuilding program i tried was Big Beyond Belief. My girlfriends dad was a bodybuilder and he purchased the program from Leo Costa himself when he met him at a contest at Knotts Berry Farm.

I remember being a 15 year old kid and watching the BBB videos that showed Phil going through a workout.

Well after 16 years of bodybuilding, i decided to return to my roots, so i did a search on Phil Hernon and Leo Costa.
The Hernon search brought me here, and i have been utilizing a workout similar to what Phil has been using.

What have I learned?

Well 1st, Frequent low volume workouts. Stimulate, stimulate often, but dont anihilate. Recover, and grow.

2nd, ive learned about DNP. I knew nothing about it, and now i know a thing or two, and am still considering a low dose cycle to see what it can do for me.

This is a great site, and im glad i found it.
 
like other have said there are many things that i have learned.......the greatest i believe is the use of HCG........i cant believe i never used it before:eek:
 
For me here is what I have learned the most:
-Low volume workouts and high intensity
-More about nutrition/dieting
-More rest
-Experiencese that others have been through
-Learned that more AAS is not as magical as opposed to a more balanced diet according to the individual.
-I have met some of the most informative, warm hearted and BIGGEST guys ever here on PM.

I am literally on this site 80% of the day.

--OH I have also learned how to hide the website and click faster when the project manager comes by!
 
How important nutrition really is... i knew it was important.. just not what i know now..
 
I learned to respect the sport, its history and the guys that put in the trial and error and hard work so that I dont have to have as many errors.
 
Not sure I could list all that I've learned. I will say that this forum has provided me with an answer, or at least a partial answer, to damn near every bodybuilding related question I've had since I started reading it. An amazing wealth of information and the most knowledgeable group of bodybuilders I've ever come in contact with.
 
i learned that despite constant cases to prove otherwise, some people think that massive cycles will overcome their complete lack of genetics. Realizing that drugs are only a part of the answer causes people to re-examine their methods, focus on diet and training, or quit. For me, nutrition has made a huge difference, and being able to bounce theories off the inumerable amount of quality members on this board has been a blessing..
 
Agreed...anything ive ever asked on here..SOMEONE has been able to help me with. This is kinda like family over here..really good knowledgable bros who respect the sport
 
This boeard truely is a blessing.. I was out of training for a year, and during that year I lost focus of many things. I am new here, and since i have been here I have been able to re focus on training. I have been working out consistently for almost 20 years, and I have learned so much from this board in the short time i have been a member. I would say i have learned the most about diet/nutrition, and that s the most important part of bodybuilding. I cannot say that i am bigger/better since i am here, and thats only due to the fact that i have just started to train after my injury. I know in time that i will be the biggest and best of my life, and i will owe it to this board, and all of the valuable memebrs that contribute on a daily basis.
