Just curious, what is a difference between a baby aspirin and a normal aspirin? Is it the same thing?
Don't know for sure, but I would guess the dosage.

Baby aspirin is 1/4 an adult aspirin.

It doesn't even say what dose to use in that article. I can see it now...next years headlines about bodybuilders overdosing on aspirin in attempts to prevent liver disease from AAS use.

Yeah, you could give your kid something natural like meadowsweet extract (filipendula ulmaria). It was discovered in the 1830's and found to treat fevers. It's all natural. It works because it contains salicylic acid, which is only slightly different in chemical structure to aspirin, or acetylsalicylic acid. Maybe you can explain why salicylic acid is good, since it's natural, but acetylsalicylic acid is bad, since it's synthesized. That's kind of hard to do when you consider that meadowsweet produces serious digestive problems, which is WHY scientists altered it and synthesized acetylsalicylic acid or aspirin, discovering a substance that has the same beneficial effects with only a fraction of the GI problems. No intention to hijack this thread or insult anybody, but i would NEVER give my baby boy an aspirin. That would be unthinkable years ago and now its just the normal way of life, pop a damn pill regardless of issue, age or gender. There are many natural remedies without giving your kids pills. Sure, it probably "does the job" but there are many great NATURAL homeopathic remedies out there, you would be surprised.
