Astaxanthin- interesting observation with HDL

Been using astaxanthin consistently for awhile. My latest set of labs came back with a 46 HDL while on a blast. This is about 10 points higher than it would normally be on a blast. All of the support supplements were consistent when both labs were pulled including 20mg of GW. The astaxanthin was the only variable change. I will be rechecking in another 4-6 weeks to confirm. 12mg of Nutricost was used.

tried it several times and never did anything notable for my HDL sadly.

I take some indirectly as it is included in krill oil... I wasn't aware it had any effect on cholesterol but it is supposed to be a good antioxidant

I started using Astaxanthin a few years back for it health benifits. It did nothing for my HDL. My HDL has gone down since i started using it. But my total cholesterol levels are lower too. I don't think either are going down are due to Astaxanthin
