Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Born in 1954 . . . do the math. I was started
on 200mg of Test C, very two weeks after blood tests revealed I was low
normal in testosterone. Never ‘taken’ anything other than that. Have been
all over the map dosage wise . . . from 100mg every two weeks up to 600mg
every 10 days, all doctor supervised, always had blood tested 2X per year.
Started lifting at 18, never ‘used’ AAS until that ripe old age. Never gave it
a minute of thought (yes it was available) until my wife went on HRT and
she brought up the topic of male menopause which prompted a blood test
from her doc. And the rest as they say is history.
Knowing me, and had I been inclined to use when I was younger, I surely
would have abused and no doubt, now, I would be regretting it.
Am on ~ 150 – 200mg, once a week. Blood tests are good. (Still donate blood
every three months which seems to be unavoidable.) My levels are high normal
now. This is a good spot for me say my DO, GP, and Urologist.
At my highest dosage I felt like crap. Sure is was bigger, sure I looked better
(subjective) but how I felt and what the blood tests revealed were not good
so we knocked it down to where I am now and I feel great and look half
way decent . . . better than when I started the ride but not as good as I once
was, and that is fine by me.
Testosterone therapy gives me more energy, more ‘drive’ and I am healthier
than I would be without it. My opinion.
