How many hours will the effects last? I'm saying this because I'd like to use it pre-workout, but was wondering if one was to work out later in the day, if this would affect sleep patterns. I'd like to see if I could time it properly based on its half life.

Not Mike, but he has stated in the past this is something that you should take early in the day because the effects can last 12+ hours...

I just took 3 caps this morning. This is actually the 1st time I've taken it (I took 3 caps 100 minutes ago), despite having samples for weeks now. 3 caps is a powerful dose. I am super alert and focused...and music sounds awesome. It took over an hour--maybe 75-80 minutes, to fully kick-in. The effects started within 30 minutes (or less), but the adrafinil took longer than everything else to peak, which is the reason for the delayed maximum peak time. This is powerful stuff. Many people will probably end up settling at only 2 caps, but I suggest taking the maximum dose for your first dose...so you can see exactly what effects it provides...and if necessary, scale back from there on later doses.

I took it 30 minutes after I woke up with 1 tbsp. of olive oil, but on an otherwise empty stomach.

I've found it actually works better when taking it on an empty stomach. t
