Check to be certain your hips are even too. Mine weren't, I had a lateral pelvic tilt, and other than some perpetual knots in my back and legs, I had no idea. It took growing slightly aesymmetrically to notice the imbalances. Uneven hips had caused a slight twist in my spine, which had one pec and shoulder lower and back a bit, one leg was turned out, etc. Basically, hip imbalance caused the whole body to be imbalanced. And as the hips evened out, so did everything else. And I didn't even realize that I felt so imbalanced until I finally felt balanced. It's almost like a f&$king miracle to me. And I sleep on my side too, and tried to change it thinking it was part of the cause of my problems. But I gave up, and it seems unrelated now. All of the stretching of shortened muscles was a waste of time too, they will shorten and tighten again until you strengthen the weaknesses that are the cause. Then the stretching becomes effective.
