I heard a radio interview of a US peptide manufacturer the other day and he was recommending reconstitution of peptides with saline preferred over bacteriostatic water. He stated that the pH of the saline is lower and will increase the shelf life of the peptide to @ the 20 day range. He stated that bact. water shortens the life of the peptide significantly.

To further increase the shelf life, he recommended the use of acetic acid 0.6%

I would tend to believe this is true considering the source.

Any thoughts?

How is nacl water going to preserve shelf life of peptides, when clearly, bac water has BA in which in of itself is a preservative and keeps bacteria from growing? Also, the only pep that needs AA in it is lr3 igf-1.

He said that it's the pH of the water that causes the peptide to break down. NaCl with its lower pH preserves the integrity of the peptide structure. AA keeps th structure stable longer - up to 5 weeks.

That would be for lr3 igf-1. The other peps are fine diluted in bac water.
