This is a serious question any help would be appreciated. I have the worst gas everyday since I have started dieting like terrible gas all the time. I eat oatmeal with portein powder in morning, mrp chicken rice, lean hamburger, lean turkey burger, red meat two to three times a week, rice cakes, sweet potatoes, and vegeteables that is really it. Its bad my wife sick of it, I am sick of it, Getting in trouble at work. I have tried charcol tabs, gas ex, lactaid, beano, taken sodium citrate to clean myself. Nothing works.

I'm not sure about you bro but turkey fucking kills me with gas , every time I eat it I'm gassed up for hrs afterword , not sure why and it has only started since I've cleaned up my diet alot.

Best adice I have for ya is be quick to blame it on sombody else , the kid , the dog the clown parked on the machine next to you at the gym , and My personal favorite is "crop dusting" on your way back from the water foutain
 
In my experience different people are bothered by different things. for me its broccoli and beans. My best advise would be to pick one thing in your diet and remove it for a few days and see what happens.

Thats the only thing you can do imo. Try starting with the oatmeal (it kills me). Also what kind of protein powder are you using?

I'd rotate my food and see what is causing that, in my case in can't eat eggs, cashews or cabbage that I turn into a gas bomb.

Start putting your oatmeal aside and having quinoa instead and use another type of protein.

Check if you are eating crusciferous(?) vegetables (brocoli, cabbage, brussel sprouts).

Them rotate your protein source.

Another option is to add digestive enzymes when you eat.

I always thought mine was because of a protein rich diet but maybe see a doc if its getting you this down?

Have you tried digestive enzymes? Digestive issues can go hand in hand with bad gas, especially when protein/volume of food is high... I know when I was eating huge quantities of food, especially protein, the digestive enzymes cut down DRASTICALLY on gas, especially fowl smelling gas.
 
For me it's eggs and chilli. The beans give me the power and the eggs make em stink!
Do you guys think sometimes the gear gives you gas, because of the way it handles the protein?? May sound stupid, but I'm no scientist.
 
I use to have you're problem, but then I discovered Digestive Enzymes and I never have gas. I use Digest Gold by Enzymedica and I feel so much better.

What kind of Protien powder are you using? eliminate the protien powders stay with whole foods and see how things go....I used to mix protien powder and oatmeal for my first meal as well...all it did was give me gas and get me FAT....so I kept the oatmeal dropped the powders...went with lean protein and have felt much better.

Im going to second the protein powder and oat theory, its a bad start to the day for me.:eek:

the sweet potatoes do it to me but not as bad as rice cakes
 
I blame it on my dog, but then the guilt gets to me and I have to confess. I'd rather my fiance' be pissed at me then the dog :)
 
I agree with the advice that's been given here: Steer clear of powders and/or incorporate digestive enzymes.
I'd also consider your eating speed. Eating fast may not allow enough time for the saliva to mix with your food before it hits your stomach. Digestion starts in the mouth. When I am in a hurry or un-relaxed and eat fast, I usually end up with bad gas.
