Bad Shot??

Did alot of searching on this one before I posted but couldn't find anything so here it is..
Did a quad shot on tuesday.. no pain no probs QV EQ... went in like shit through a goose...Now I have a big yellowish bruise by the inject site no lump or redness really just like a bruise that hurts pretty bad... the bruise is about 5" long by 3" wide...
Opinions???

I'm guessing that unless it really hurts, it's just a large bruise.

I've been getting these large or larger bruises on my shoulders/upper arms but mine are not caused by shots. Mine look like they're right underneath the surface (not a deep bruise) and tend to migrate - move from original site. I just got one of these after working shoulders. I've narrowed it down to getting these after I change around my shoulder workout. Looks like I've been beat with a bat but they don't begin to hurt

XCEL, nah it hurts.. but its on the surface, not a deep pain but real sensitive on the surface...If I knicked a vein on the way in or out could it cause this??
Especially the color it looks like a real bad bruise...kinda yellow/greenish..
but not really any red anywhere...slight redness at the injection site but the bruise is not right ontop of the inj site its behind it... like further back on my quad..

dont panic

qv is infamous for this type of stuff- at least from my experience- my quad may get swole as hell and a little red and itchy but after it all goes down in about 2-3 day- but ive had the bruise too on my ass and you may have went thro a vein or the gear could be a little dirty and its never anywhere near where i shot it also always lower down

I have that pain like that too usually nowhere near where I shot...
but haven't had a bruise like this b4...

Hey if it is bruised you probably just hit a blood vessel under the skin. Now if it begins to swell and become very red then you should be concerned. I have the QV EQ and it is great gear. Just be catious with the swelling. I injected some dirty Test-400 once and came down with cellulitos. Which needs to be treated with cephalexin! Best of luck!

No Swelling Yet Just Pain

Havent noticed any swelling yet just pain, Ive used the QV EQ b4 w no probs but I haven't had this hapen b4 with anything.. didn't hurt for two days then yesterday started feeling tender and today saw the bruise and felt the pain its even on the inside of my leg...no bruise but a pain in the muscle on the inside quad..sort a weird... I'm gonna keep an eye on it

hold pressure on the injection site for 1-2 minutes. what is happening is after the injection blood is leaking into the surrounding tissue causing bruising. pressure on the area, much like when you get an external laceration will allow the wound to clot preventing blood loss

Also looks like what may have happened is I ended up with some of the inect sub Q...I remember giving my wife a b12 subq shot one time and she bruised up like this.. May have injected too fast and some came back out and stayed under the skin...So far no more swelling except I can feel a slight swell where the bruise is...May be oil trapped under the skin... If its is will it dissapate??

yeah it'll absorb in time, you'd be surprised how much the body can absorb sub-q, vets give animals liters of fluid sub-q to rehydrate them

Even oil though?? I thought Oil wount absorb sub Q...
The bruise looks worse today but the pain isn't as bad..Still no redness (just a very small are at the inj site) or swelling so I guiess thats good..
