I was told I need to take them out of my contest diet. Are they seriously gonna cause that much of a problem for someone on AAS?
 
If you are on a true contest prep diet, no, it will not hurt you. I'd probably stop eating them about two weeks out though.

Very debatable. Gunsmith I think just started a similar thread. If you hired someone to do your prep, I would just follow the plan, for better or worse, unless youre far from the show and dont like the direction he's going.
 
This whole prep thing is getting a little ridiculis when you cant even eat a banana.WTF

As long as it's worked into your macro's and diet, wtf is the issue? If they mean adding random bananas on top of what you have lined out to eat, then obvious it's a bad idea as you are no longer following a diet.
 
I think a banana has about the same GI as a half a cup of oatmeal , but better nutrients.
 
Fruit in general I always cut out of my pre contest diet.

Fruit will still elevate insulin levels, better sources of carbs that stay in your system longer. This is important when limiting carbs on a diet. That of course is my opinion. I never ate fruit when dieting.
 
I wouldn't eat for constest prep, too many simple sugars

Normally I eat one pre-workout religously

Yes fruit , No fruit , yes carbs , no carb , carbs only before training , carbs only after training , eat fat with your carbs , don't eat fat with your carbs.

Fuck it , upping the dose to tren and adding DNP and T3!! :mad:

If you're dieting, you can CERTAINLY have a banana in the morning as well as post-workout. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a fool. Reducing carbs below 70-100g per day is a bad idea, in my opinion.
