i knew anothney. he was R.I. only top guy. huge bro. he gave me one of my first diets like,11 years ago when i was 19. such a great guy. nice humble and willing to help anyone. he had some health issues and the docs told him not to compete. but ant was a die hard bber, he loved nothing else than bbing and competing. being pro was his dream and he chased it so hard!!! one thing i can say about him is he died doing what he loved, and had no regret doing it. he knew the chances he took but loved the sport so much.. everyone in R.I. knows anthoney in the bbing world.
sad yes but he did what he wanted to do. nobody ever has said a bad word about him even when he was alive. he is missed by so many.

I knew Anthony too. I was his travel agent of many years. I booked the tickets for his trip to Pittsburgh from Providence, the return of which he sadly never used. He also did an outstanding job prepping me for my last show, 2004 NPC Southern States.
It is sad... I remember a big powerlifter from my gym years ago that passed right before a meet. Warming up on squats and had a massive heart attack on the spot. His chest was so big, the paramedics couldn't get the adrenaline into his heart. At least both were doing what they loved right until the end.
