Beat safety razor

I've been looking to invest in a good safety razor does anyone have one that they'd recommend? Thanks guys

Definitely go with the old school razor,like the one they sell from Rick at pawn stars,I have one it works great if you use it correctly...

New School Barber

I use a shavette I got off of amazon for $14. It is all stainless steel and has pretty nice weight. Best and quickest shave you can do and a fresh blade each time.

For shave prep I use cold water rub and then do a first pass. Then I use an oil to do a second closer pass.

I find that I use the shavette more than the straight razor because it requires stropping and honing to maintain the edge. A fresh Feather brand blade is always super sharp.

Check out forums at badger and blade. Old school is best so research double bladed razors from the 50 and 60
