Been a long time

Haven’t stepped foot in a gym in 7.5 years haven’t trained hard in 10 years, haven’t competed in 15, but I’m back going on 6th month back and my body has responded VERY WELL, thank God for muscle memory, I’m planning on competing in men’s classic physique 2020, my wife thinks I’m crazy for trying to compete lol, I’m now age 43 and around 216lbs but keeping it leaner, here’s a pic and vid of me from a few days ago, I got a long way to go but I’m ready to have fun with it and do my best.

I saw your photos of you before when you were younger, impressive. I was hoping to see pictures of you at your least developed stage, back when you weren't even training. I'd like to see what 8 years of not being in the gym looks like. Welcome back to the board!

i am 1 year younger than u and bout same weight when in shape and lifting etc. I have been away from gym for few years.
i too been tempted to get back into it and try mens classic physique. maybe just mens physique....
lookin good. nice to hear the muscle memory is helpin out!

I had that experience after my heart attack. I took off about 6 months and went back. Gained a lot back fast. Size and strength. I was natural too and not even on TRT yet.

So you took off 8 years from weight lifting? Didn't do a thing? If that is so, Im going to guess you also were natural. When you started up 6 months ago did you stay that way or go on some "stuff"?

Im not really sure how muscle memory works, just that it is real since I have experienced it first hand. Even now I can stop working out for like 3 months and gain it all back in about 1 1/2 months. Always faster the 2nd time. Im 50.
