Beet Root and Blood Pressure

I don’t believe it needs to mix with saliva as I have been using capsules and my bp been lowered substantially.It is vey cheap and if anyone here is having high bp then this a no brainer,you don’t need a prescription.Now that I have my home bp monitor I check my bp around 4-5 times/day and keep seeing the same numbers as when I used to be on the Lisinopril with HCTZ.

I just read a little bit about this. The beet contains nitrate. Nitrate gets absorbed by your stomach and small intestines. The nitrate in the blood goes to the salary glands and a bacteria in saliva converts nitrate to nitrite. From Nitrite your body can create the nitric oxide which lowers the blood stream.

So I'm not really sure if swishing the beet juice in your mouth before swallowing it makes it more effective or not. I always thought I got a better response from beet juice when I mix it with something sweet or sour that makes me salivate more.

But just ingesting beet will give the effect regardless.

I have seen a couple small studies showing it lowered BP 4-10 points within hours of ingesting beetroot.

I love beets and have been eating two a day for awhile now. My costco used to carry organic ,vaccum sealed steamed beets that were pretty amazing. They stopped carrying them a couple months ago so I switched to no sodium canned beets. Canned beets taste pretty damn good and are cheap for those that are interested haha.
Canned beets have 3.5 servings and has about 6 oz of beet juice in it.

So it’s been 2 full days that I started using the power beets(after a 2-3 day break) and my bp this morning is 124/72. Just more evidence that beet root powder will lower bp and in my case substantially.If anyone is interested Power Beets powder is on sale at Bj’s. Recap ,without beet root powder my bp is high 130’s over high 80’s,with beet root powder my bp is low 120’s over low 70’s

Woke up this morning,took 2 of Mike Arnold’s Vicaine caps,1/2 serving of Power Beets(I will take the other 1/2 about 12 hours later ) and 6 grams of green vein Kratom .Took My bp about 20-30 minutes later.My average over 3 readings was 127/74 and hr was 71

I have been using a product from BJ’s,power beets by nutherapy.This is a powder so a serving is a 5.5 gram scoop which has 4.3 grams of beet root powder

I was also thinking mixing citrulline and beet root powder for double the bp dropping power and drinking the concoction 3 times a day. Wonder if that would work well. Already take telmaristan and carditone as well as cialis.
