Beginners Forum

I have noticed that sometimes it takes a while before a question will get answered in the beginners forum, if it gets answered at all. This is probably because less people read the beginner forum. I have also noticed that when a beginner question is posted on the main forum guys will quickly jump all over the person saying it should be in the beginners forum. To solve this problem I think it would be nice if some of the more experienced guys on this site would check the beginners forum more often to see if there are questions they could easily answer. That way the beginners get their answers and they also don't fill up this forum will amateur stuff. Anyways just something I think would be beneficial for the site.

Good point. I always visit over there every day. Those are thy guys that need the most help.

for me it all depends on whether the subject gets my attention or not, but i'm also cautious cause you never know?

agreed, BUT alot of times when you search, it is possible that it returns 150 pages entirely unrelated to your question because the words used are similiar.

Oh plenty of us visit the newb's forum. I will only answer the sensible questions that had some thought put in them. Too often there are questions asked that have been answered a thousand times over. Some of us get tired of typing the same shit over and over. The search function will turn up amazing results. I would encourage the new members to learn how to use it more.

Exactly.
It's usually a case of a lazy dude not utilizing the search feature correctly.
Almost anything that's worth talking about has been done here on ProfessionalMuscle and can be found with a bit of effort.

Let's face it...the search feature gives you pages of unrelated topics. That being said, I still will always find what I'm looking for although google is a more efficient way to get answers.

Sad, but true bro.

I wish our search engine was structured similarly to Google advanced search. That way a search could start out with the broadest possible terms, then refine to a narrowed & accurized search as unrelated & only semi-related info gets eliminated from the search parameters.

I'm not exactly a noob, but I've got more to learn & at times our search engine has left me with a mountain sized haystack of useless info to sift in search of the tiny needle of relevant info...

Bet you that our endless barrage of dippy noob type of questions would decrease substantially if our search engine were upgraded as mentioned (|assuming that's possible).

We all start somwhere, but I read/trained for years and years before I touched any AAS. I don't have a ton of sympathy any more from modding on multiple boards and becuase this is an advanced board, I'm finding it easier to just delete and ban some people rather than move a ton of threads to the beginner's forum.

Guys - you can use google site search or just put your terms into a google search and include "siterofessionalmuscle.com" <-that's supposed to be site[colon]professionalmuscle.com.. (without the quotes; actually it doens't matter) and it will give you all results from the site.

This is usually what I use as it's better at pulling phrases as long as you use quotes, and you can use "-" or "NOT" to narrow results.
