Been having a read through some of the old old threads on the JP app (before it went to shit and trt+ only)

This was posted by Ben Chow when he was pushing it working with Milo’s some years back

He went on to say this was the rebound before the proper cycle started.

It’s amusing reading the comments from JP and others back then no one said a thing about trt etc this was just the norm but now it’s all about health phases and 300mg max rebounds etc

I realise the forum used to be more “hardcore” years ago and now is primarily literally kids on there so probably why it’s very watered down

Either way mildly interesting

Also it was on Luke Sandoe’s thread where he mentions the most he ever used was around 4g but apparently didn’t get anything from it. Who knows but a far cry from the 600-1.5g is all you’ll ever need touted on there now

Ben goes onto mention there was a lot of insulin used with double day training sessions and around 1000g of carbs

Milos would be on my bucket list of guys to do an offseason with as his knowledge seems immense and his philosophy always seemed to of stayed pretty similar so clearly must work

But as someone who’s a total novice AND also can’t afford to grow the midsection I don’t think I’d warrant his time or attention over his high level guys

Ah those were the days lol Not a member there anymore but wasss for quite a while man. And those days were the best. JP was juuust starting to put out more videos and the forums were pretty hardcore. James, Luke and Jaime were allll posting there and being pretty real in terms of everything they were using.

Not a surprise on the Milo’s stuff tho. I mean his rebound doesn’t look too far off from his just regular protocols.

Not sure if I ever found it, but I always looked really deep back to find early JP cycles, when he was still kinda actively competing and growing like a weed. He had that big big offseason with Dr Scott and Milos and he had maybe 2 more where he was realllly experimenting with dosages and his training styles. Also, just how he planned his offseason. Tons of good info in there but just hard as shit to find.

It is funny honestly. Basically 2 grams of gear when everyone all over the internet talks about 200-300mgs "health phases" that last for 16 weeks and 1.5 gram "hardcore" contest prep cycles.

The internet is great overall of course but it also allows for these swings in what people say that go from real and true to utter nonsense. And this is the case for any topic lol.

Around the 2016-2018 time it was brilliant (only reading it now but some real good info on there) but yeah sadly it’s very buried and some stuff removed sadly

It’s pretty crap on there now sadly just kids posting stupid nonsense and the athletes posting training and food updates on blogs no one responds to

I remember JP said he went upto 6g at one point with high amounts of insulin and gh.

His recent cycle on his “comeback” is intriguing it’s 1.5g mast and 1.5g Deca with 10iu hgh I believe

Will have a scroll back see what I can find from “the good old days” 😂

The thing with the whole JP brand/athletes they are posting on behalf of a brand/company who’s primary market audience seems to be aged 14-25 and is very much a money making venture so I think it’s understandable why they all post similar content very user safe etc

Oh I agree I'm not even being critical of them specifically. I'm not even sure what the right answer is and they all generally seem like decent people. I also 100% agree their following went from what seemed like 20-35 years olds to literally borderline 13-22 year olds and it seems to keep getting younger. I'm only half joking when I say it's borderline turning into a teenager thing...which is a little weird and I also wonder if even they wonder how it happened.

I know it’s blamed for everything (often rightly so) but I genuinely think it’s social media. It influences younger people a lot and it’s currently very trendy to be some form of bodybuilder

I think you are dead on. It is wild though seeing 13-15 year olds all caught up in it. I often wonder what they think about that.

I can say working with Milos was the most food I have eaten, the most gear I have used and for sure the most insulin I will ever use. This looks exactly like a rebound he would do IMO.

Milos would give you all the attention you needed if he took you on, but if I am being honest I don’t think he would be the best coach for you after following your last 18 months. You could quickly ruin your midsection and lines with his protocols.

I have mad respect for Milos and what he does, but as an athlete we have to know our body and be strategic in maximizing our physique.

I totally agree I think the mass at all costs approach as cool as it is and as much as I’d LOVE to do it I think it could end up resulting in either ruining my physique completely for the reasons you’ve said or put me in a situation where I’ve then got to put all my effort into trying to undo the damage I perhaps didn’t need to do in the first place had I been more patient and strategic

Just having a browse about and found this

Some interesting supposed Milos protocols you’ll probably have more of an idea if legit or not

Everything seems very broken down into detail but maybe other than the extensive workout shakes it looks quite standard I imagine

The hardest bit would be the 2x a day workouts for most people to adhere to not sure how much more or less effective his protocols would be for those that couldn’t train this way

The 2X a day workouts are only for set periods. Most of the season he has guys do standard progressive overload and very similar to John Meadows style.

When you work with Milos he sends you all of his programs and philosophies outlined in the initial emails from insulin to workouts. As someone who loves to learn I can say I appreciated it as most coaches don’t go into that level of detail on “why” they do the things they do.

We’re listening..

He discusses it a bit in his insulin thread (I’d love to hear more too)

One thing that intrigues me is why don’t guys seem to last longer than a season or two with Milos is it just to intense for most? Doesn’t work long term? One season is all that’s needed?

This was one of the main things that made me curious to work with him as someone else who loves the how’s and why’s of it all the learning aspect of working with him I think would be massive

I’ve brushed on it here over the years and won’t disclose the exact cycles or things we did out of respect.

I was in 3500mg plus of gear (without orals), 2-3 orals, 10iu of HGH and averaged 40iu of Humalog most days along with 6k plus calories over 7 meals per day. No cardio.

At the time I was in the light heavy range and if I am being honest it was way too much for me to be doing and on. Pushing that hard and doing no cardio was a terrible combination for me personally.

Milos makes mass monsters and he is the best at it. Most guys don’t last more than a year or two with him because he has extremely high standards and there is only one speed- PUSH. Thats not a knock on Milos, nor any of this.

Just as with any coach know what you are getting yourself into. Milos was my first coach and the things I learned from him were invaluable.

You’d be better served to learn under someone like AJ, Dom or Justin IMO knowing all their approaches.

That’s if you decide to change coaches, but let’s not get back into that again on here. 🤣

Damn yeah that is full on I can see why guys could burn out mentally and or physically pushing that hard! Equally can see how his guys make big leaps in size even at advanced stages
