Berberine and protein degradation?

Atrogin-1 affects muscle protein synthesis and degradation when energy metabolism is impaired by the antidiabetes drug berberine. ... RESULTS: Berberine administration decreased protein synthesis and increased degradation in muscles of normal and db/db mice.

Without post the hole study. I couldn’t find the answer in a search. I’m sure it has been beaten down already. So before I throw my berberine in the garbage. What’s the take on this.

I have been using metformin and berberine for around 16 months. Can’t say I have gotten big change in a year. I stay lean.

No need to use it post-workout.

And using Berb and metformin together isn't recommended together.

Not if it is totally alters/stopping the mechanism for a period of time. I would agree that it isn’t because I take that multiple times a day and have definitely kept everything while losing fat.

Taking plenty ass and Gh. I just don’t know that when it says it block mtor how much of it can be brought back with ass training ect
