Best digestive enzymes? Comparison

So I have three different types of digestive enzymes (1) now brand super digestive enzymes (2) omega garden of life digest ultra and (3) vitacost mega digestive enzyme, and I have to say comparing from brand to brand is nearly impossible.

How do you compare digestive enzymes to know the best one? They all have the same basic enzymes but they are so misleading with the doses as listed on the supplement facts

For example one will list the enzyme lipase in FFCU. The other brand will list it in USP. The other will list in MG. Another brand will be GDU.

This makes it nearly impossible to compare brand vs brand. Does anyone else have suggestions on which are the best and why? There’s no debate they work but as a consumer this is extremely misleading

See every brand mentioned so far in this thread has different ingredient terminologies as it relates to strength / doses, making it nearly impossible to compare brand vs brand. Imagine if protein supplements did this

which brand is that? It looks like Garden of Life is even better than Digest Gold in terms of potency. Can anyone else confirm this?

This looks good. Do you feel you digest the food much better when using this brand?

I got the NOW brand and it seems to make things worse after I had my gallbladder removed. Gives me the most God-aweful smelling gas of all time. It also gives me a somewhat runny stool. Sometimes i'll take them on the weekends just to kill everybody in the house

My GF says they help her though.

Shred up some raw ginger.

It's more effective than any supplement, and has other health benefits as well.

I use the Life Extension brand and NOW's digestive enzyme and both seem to work pretty well for me. The NOW one I just seem to have some after burps at times but that's not really a big deal. I also use apple cider vinegar after my heavier meals to help my body out a bit.

Have any of you tried Betaine HCl? I just tried it for the first time, already getting somewhat of a warm sensation after 1 pill so I'm not sure it will be for me long term.
