Best Fixes for Trensomnia? Trenbolone Sleep Issues

Hey guys,

Trenbolone wrecks sleep for a lot of us — even with solid sleep hygiene. Main problems:
- Hard time falling asleep
- Frequent nighttime awakenings
- Crushed deep/REM sleep
- Straight-up insomnia

It tanks recovery, gains, mood, and how high/long you can run tren.

What’s actually worked for you to fix “trensomnia” while keeping tren’s benefits? Pharma, supplements, lifestyle — anything proven in the real world.

Especially curious about:
- **Benadryl** (Broderick Chavez mentioned it) — does it work? Doses, timing, downsides?
- **DORAs** (dual orexin receptor antagonists like suvorexant/lemborexant) — any experience?

Drop your best results please:
- Specific compounds + dosages + timing
- What combos worked (or didn’t)
- Whether it let you run higher tren doses or longer cycles without sleep dying

Any firsthand data is gold. Thanks!

I take your point. Will fix that right away.

The easiest solution is to stop taking it once the sides get too bad

Obviously not the answer you’re looking for. The problem is that tren ramps up your central nervous system into overdrive mode, almost in a near constant state of adrenaline and fight or flight mode.

There’s a thread here that discussed how Benadryl/zyrtec can be helpful from a histamine standpoint, which I’ve found to be true, but I also find I need beta blockers to sleep on tren to turn down the heart rate and the overly wound kind of feeling.

But even then Tren still affects dopamine, serotonin, gaba and other brain chemicals. There’s not really an easy fix for this unless you want to start diving into some risky medicines that will only serve as a bandaid, and come with other (perhaps long term) risks.

I generally try to avoid Tren, but when I do use it I’ll only do like 140-210mg a week for 4-6 weeks. Once my sleep starts going to shit or sides start to become intolerable and things start going sideways I’ll drop it. When I was younger I could handle it a lot better and at higher dosages, but now I think low dose pulses of it seem to work better. It’s extremely powerful, you don’t need to run mega doses of it. A little goes a long way.

That said.. it’s still probably better to just avoid tren altogether unless you’re in prep for a competition. Bad things usually happen while it’s in.

Certainly, this is true. I wonder what adaptations some people have that lets them tolerate fairly large doses of Tren without much disruption, I suspect that prolonged exposure to high androgens may lead to neurological adaptations that allow for greater tolerance.

The search feature is a valuable tool here for new members. Tren will push you into sympathetic overdrive and cause mast cell activation syndrome.

There’s supplements which can get you pretty far as I discussed in my thread.

But you gave no context about what you’re doing, full cycle, lifestyle, stats etc so it’s anyone’s best guess for you.

Sure there are meds to mask the side effects beyond what I have discussed on here, but if you have to take 3 meds to barely manage side effects of a compound is it really right for your body…

Our body makes progress in a parasympathetic state- rest and digest. Tren pushed too far is simply forcing a look with hefty price to pay health wise when you come off it. Use it wisely if you choose to.

Personally would just drop the Tren. Can’t grow if you can’t sleep, why I’d avoid it in an offseason setting.

Try 3g Glycine in some hibiscus tea, 2 NAC, and 100mg gaba. That combo worked for me and you should fall asleep and stay asleep within 30 minutes.

Dude come on. Is this for an adult? I take NAC with every meal and 750mg-1g of GABA just to take the edge off.

It might very well work for you but it is in no way a one size fits all. For you to say that since it worked for you it’ll work for him while KNOWING NOTHING ABOUT HIM is insane.

I mean unless you guys are actual brothers or relatives or something I guess…. 🤔

He’s not asking for a sleep stack…

Counting sheep.

Seriously, while I'll always thank @bbxtreme for his thread about histamine, DAO and cetirizine (Zyrtec) don't help me with that annoying side effect of poor sleep. Pharmacologically, high doses of hydroxyzine help me a bit, but honestly, I don't know if it's possible to achieve normal sleep on tren without taking really strong medication, which of course doesn't make sense anyway. (I'm referring to the majority of people who experience this side effect, because a few don't, but that's a minority from what I've read.)

I guess you have to suffer for the effects of tren; it would be too good to take it without any side effects.

It depends on the person, somebody as me i can sleep fine up to 300mg (titrating up slowly) and feel awesome on it, at other hand 150 of NPP kills my sleep and feel like shit

It’s kind of funny you mention the NPP thing.

I’ve found eq usually messes with my sleep a bit as well. No where near the level of Tren or Clen, but I do notice reduced rem and deep sleep with eq. Could just be an individual response thing

You are of course entirely correct. I actually sleep perfectly even under very high doses of trenbolone. This is of academic interest for me in regard to helping others who can't use Tren in contest prep because of sleep disruption.

If You have trensomnia...you're taking too much. I've liked it as a great addition at 25-40/wk para/hex preferred

Hydroxyzine works great for it. Glance over the thread bbxtreme created and you’ll learn more….

This thread sounds mildly like a troll job, but I will bite.

Just drop the fucking tren man. Seriously , what is it doing for you that you couldnt accomplish with something else that isnt going to ruin your sleep?
