As everyone says above, leaner and dryer. But this dude looks amazing. His quads are the best part of his physique. Only thing I can say that worked well for me are 30-50 rep leg extensions with a 1-2 second hold and squeeze at the top. And Bulgarian split squats, very slow and controlled.
