Best low dose cycles

I don’t want to dismiss anyone with real symptoms who I have sympathy for, but I am quite confident that most people who say they get mental side effects on 100 mg of Deca are dealing with the nocebo effect, where they read about side effects from people online and then convince themselves that they are suffering from them too since now they are expecting them. The nocebo effect is well documented in general medicine, and statin use is especially famous for this. I think this is the case with low-dose Deca as well.
Probably so. I was nervous to try deca for years because I was worried about deca dick and mental sides. I just wanted to try it for joints and recovery and I started at a conservative dose to test. I was thrilled when I tried it and got a tad bit bigger (people noticed and commented), strength went up, libido went up, mood overall went up, and my body feels great. I am always curious to hear about people’s mental sides from it or even their experiences with it at any dose. If I go slightly above 100mg of deca I get gyno so I am staying put. But I do agree that people read other’s experiences and start to get them too. I understand what you mean
 
my favorite low dose cycle was going from trt to trt+ dose test say100-150 going to 200ish.
run that out for 4-6 weeks until gains stop.
add in same amount of mast. run until gains stop, 4-6 wk. u
add in 200mg of npp. run 4-6 weeks and see how you feel.

its a way to make nice slow steady progress over a long time keeping doses pretty side effect free and low. the last times i ran npp i found that sides crept in as i was on it longer. capping at about 6 weeks seemed like stopping just as they were starting.

you can run it a little longer by bumping dose before adding the other compound then lowering again when you add the next, like 200-250 t+m then 250 t+m then t+m+n at 200 each.

I also started it at 200mg per week about a year ago. I felt great on it. I am on 100mg now as a joint support and maintenance protocol. I feel no different whether I take it or not, other than my joints are better and it keeps me from losing muscle.

Some old dude said on a podcast a few years ago he was taking 200mg per week for 20 years and felt great on it.

Just so were clear on my end my sides were on around the 600 mg wk range ( I'd have to look at my journal to see the exact amount) and my sides were definitely not a placebo effect. I'm really not a side effect person. I've ran crazy cycles many times , many years with no sides. The lowest I've ever ran Deca was 200-300mg wk and that was early on in my body building journey and everything then was positive. One of my ex's is a neurologist and we've spoke many times about how our brain chemistry can change as we age. I kind of suspect that may be the case with the mental sides with Deca but obviously I can't confirm that.

Yes it’s good for us to be clear since I was talking specifically about low doses (50-150mg ish) and not “bodybuilding” doses like 600mg, which is a whole different category.

I have never gone that high with deca but I failed to mention before that even at a low dose of 100mg EW I have a foggier memory and I definitely am not as sharp mentally. It’s nothing that bad but it’s definitely there. If I was still in school I think I would notice it more.

I do get an almost antidepressant feeling from it too though. I wish I had known sooner. I am more mellow too.

It’s interesting how it affects everyone differently at different dosages.

But yes brain chemistry changes as we get older and also depending on what we are injecting ourselves with…
 
I never do more than 500 of anything a week for years now, no reason to, results are the same if not better
 
Androgens promote intramuscular water retention. If a guy have genetically gifted big muscle bellies low dose protocols (100mg test + 100mg dht derivative wk) can be enough for a good physique. But for ectomorphic this is mainly useless ,they need this extra water retention and anabolic edge to get muscle volume that higher dosages would build . Obviously a whoop dosage of gh can changes the story.
 
How long did you use to run those low cycles?

i would generally go from just test to higher test and keep that for a bit, it would depend on the rest of the details but 4-6 weeks. then add in mast. another 3- 6 weeks later up them a bit then lower and add npp go another little while 4-6 weeks and up again. ride that out for a while and see. i remember i found cutting things short which was about 6 weeks total time on npp helped me, i would go further but dont really remember how much.

i have done similar as a trt+ like someone else mentioned above but with lower doses. that was good too. its been a little bit since i have done that.

the other thing i have noticed is if you ran higher doses for a while then took some time off as in mostly trt going back on gets you much better results with much less gear then generally you will remember. i mention that as that was my experience and have noted others who get similar. this for guys who are at that jumping point of going from off and soft for some time then getting back to it and all excited for that first big cycle back. often its filled with big doses and crazy drug combos thats totally unnecessary. baby doses of basic gear goes really far. dont be afraid of low dose cycles.
