Best Methods to get in meals and supps at work???

Okay here is my situation:

I work at a hospital...I am ALWAYS on the run and I have to go with a therapist and see patients from 8:30am until 4:00pm. I have a 1 hour lunch at 12.

I am unable to get meals in at any other time so eating more frequently is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

I take in two servings of LBAs at about 10am and 2pm where I duck into a staff room where I try and stash them (which i have to do before I even clock in in the morning!) and gulp one down before I get bitched at by the therapist to hurry and follow him to the next patient. THIS F'N SUCKS!!! and there HAS to be an easier way...

What do you guys do in situations like this where you really need your supps or a meal and have difficulty getting free???

I have thought about wearing like a fannypack (yea pretty homo lol) to take care of the little problem---having to stash the lbas early in the morning...but still would be screwed on the big picture of fitting in meals or supps...

WHAT DO I DO? it cant be this hard????

You could do an all liquid meal and put it in the fridge.
Whey,milk, OJ, egg white and some LBAs(sounds good) and throw in suppls in the shake.
As far as what I do to get free? I just go to the b-room and eat honestly, takes like 2 mins, but the only time I had to do this was a bathroom the size of a closet that smelt lovely.
A good idea for the fanny pack, just get some 5 hour energy shots, and fill them with LBAs, 1 might hold say 3 TBSP, and just take shots of them.
 
grind a lot of oatmeal and mix with protein and add in some glutamine and keep dry in plastic baggies ready to mix or in separate shakers...just add milk and sip...beats missing a meal...alex

I would have your meat all weighed and cut up and ready to eat.. put it in tin foil and have it ready to scarf down. I would wear that fanny pack bro and not even worry. Forget what anyone thinks. As long as your job is not in jeopardy.
A hungry person, is an unhappy person so, i suggest you make it a priority to run to the bathroom, take a quick break.. whatever you have to do, eat!

Oh, the infamous bathroom breaks, the best time to pound some food down! Thank goodness I now have a job where I do not really have to do that, but I remember at one point doing that. Alex A is so right find a place and EAT!

Also, I used eat protein bars because they were easy, I know not the best choice but easy, fast, and sometimes melted in my pocket, but they had calories and protein!

You could add some olive oil to the lbas. I have 5 3oz bottles that I carry with me on planes full of that. So all day when I travel its the LBAs, olive oil, and whatever fruit juice I can find on the plane. oh I also bring nuts.
 
Im restricted on certain days myself. I will make pancakes.... potato, apple, mix in some whey... any sorts of combos. Takes 30 seconds to wolf down, like eating a cookie. Follow with a sip of water.
Same with supps. And I too wear a fanny pack. And no one has ever said anything .... well, not to my face anyways lol. But, who cares, right?
 
I remember going to a seminar by Chris Cook and Mark Dugdale after they turned pro and competed at the Iron Man Pro In Los Angeles.

Chris told the story of how he had to eat in the bathroom when he was in the military and it was his toughest challenge preparing for a show. Im damn lucky i can eat whenever I want.

I just love it when the microwave is broken at work or its time to eat and im driving and im eating ice cold Chicken and cold crunchy rice.. Since your hungry.. food is food. I will scarf down the grosses stuff in front of anyone.

I also remember this one guy that wanted me to help him with his diet.

Due to his situation, i suggested he eat immediately after training and that he not wait to drive home and cook his food( he lived far from the gym). He then told me....."Ive never eaten food cold" . I just knew he was not ready to get in shape.

For me the getting the food rite has always been the hardest part.
I can do good for a few days, sometimes even a few weeks.
But How you guys can do it 8-12 weeks in a row or the guys Like Alex that eat this way Everyday I have a lot of respect for. Its tough.

I do construction and usually what i do is have chicken and sweet taters in a ziplock back in my coat pocket and constantly keep takin bites. It takes like 20 mins to finish teh meal but oh well.

And ive done the bathroom thing too, but for me its usually a portajon :O Talk about disgusting...
 
Funny

I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm a chef. I can eat just about all day long. Problem is 95% of it is not that healthy. I know some of you might like to have this problem, but I'm an endomorph always trying to lose some fat. And I have a love (weakness for food. Sometimes I wish I had a job away from the temptation. But on the plus side it really helps the grocery bill.

Many years ago before I started cooking I worked construction. There is no way in hell I could eat in a site port-a-pot.

Hahaha....that's funny you mention that.

Everyday for work, I have 2 containers with rice and chicken that have been in my lunch cooler all day. By the time I get to them, they are crunchy cold. I don't even warm them up anymore because i actually like it better cold. I have a little bit of yoshida sauce in mine though for flavoring.

you could try having a BIG breakfast and a Big lunch. lba's between meals and another meal right after work. that gives you room for 4-5 meals a day.

do you do morning cardio??? what timedo you get up??

if you had breakfast(phil prescribed) at 6am, then ate a solid meal at work right b4 you start at 8am, then another solid meal at 1pm, then another at 4pm as soon as you finish, thats already 4 good meals(plus lba's 1-2 times) before you train, then post shake and meal,,, well over 7 good"meals""

however it does require you to wake b4 6am lol:)
