Best non-milk based protein?

I will also say MRE lite, will never go back to whey protein. Amazon has 5 lbs of the snicker doodle and blue berry cobbler for $60 each.

Do you take digestive enzymes?

drinking egg whites sound like a stomach disaster

I don't drink it by itself. I use a 50% whey isolate / 30% pea isolate / 20% egg white mix currently in cookies 'n cream flavor. I usually mix it with 8oz of almond milk.

Depending on my goals, i'll usually add 1/2c to 2/3c of powdered oats. I'll blend a banana in a lot of times for post-w/o.

If I get tired of the flavor, i'll buy sugar free salted caramel Torani and pour some in it.

I always make my drinks the night prior....helps big time on taste giving the flavors time to meld.

Sorry...almost forgot the question. No, I don't need digestive enzymes, but I do make sure to space out my meals q 3-4 hours and helps on bloating and digestion for me. I also had my gallbladder removed in 2016 and i've found spaced out feeds help a lot for me.
 
Been using these vegan protein RTD's lately cause too much whey gives me kidney pain. One good one I would recommend is Evolve brand but I know there's a few similar ones out there, think they're mainly pea protein.
 
That MRE light...do they have the AA profile? Some cheap beef/meat isolates have a terrible BCAA profile.

Yes I am also interested in Redcon1, but apparently the 3rd party tests have been bad and the owners are sketchy.
I cant imagine things like salmon protein are cheap either, where would they get it from.
 
I get major digestion issues with any type of whey or dairy...I just ordered some MRE lite to try out.
Hope it works, will report back with my experience.

I’m sure it’s just low quality beef protein and sugar.
the packet says it contains milk as well. I thought the whole point of it was to avoid milk.
not sure I’m convinced
 
I hope you do too. I personally do not like salted caramel from ANY company I have ever tried. If this is your first non-dairy protein temper your expectations as the dairy based are by far the best tasting/texture.

its delicious and mixes easily in water :)
 
Mre-lte review as promised;
Again just to preface I am SUPER sensitive to shakes and have gastro issues often.
Been using mre-lte since Saturday.
1 scoop a day for first day.
Absolutely no issues.
Went to 1 scoop twice a day, zero issues. Absolutely zero bloating or gas or the usual diereah. I’m amazed actually.
Had 1 scoop three times yesterday and zero digestive issues again.
Taste and texture is a 10/10 for me also.
I’d say give it a shot if the typical powders just don’t work for u.
