Best online company for Personal Training Certification

Fellas, I am trying to get my personal training certification because I have some free time these days. I was wondering what the best online company for this is? More specifically, I would like to take the classes etc online from my apartment.

I am asking here because I do not want to get some gimmicky scam certification... I want something legit....

the ACE looks good. You study for the exam then go to a testing center and take it. Nationally accredited.

I will sit back and wait for more experienced input...Im in same boat as you: free time and a love for helping people (for $ too of course).

The American College of Sports Medicine/ACSM is by far the most complete and respected certification out there hands down...... No one can dispute or argue that. NASM is a very close second but much easier to pass in my opinion.

Best online cert out there!

This one is great if you need cert so you can get insurance and train people yourself. Its hella easy.

No gyms will recognize this cert.

What about issa? I know Tom platz and fred hatfield are involved in that one.
I see chicago area gyms recognizing that cert.
I would never want to be a trainer for a gym. private only.I must say most of the franchise gym trainers seem to all use the same training methods.
Some things just can not be learned from reading.

Thats a good one. its actually Sal Arria and Tom Platz. But as mentioned earlier find out what a need for employment and go with the cheapest. At one point they were trying to Nationalize a Standard of certifications. It was a bill up for vote...I dont know what ever happened.
For the money you could look at American Muscle and Fitness cert. I allow some of my seasoned trainers to carry rgis one. Cheap. Its all the same shit to be honest. Except CSCS of course in which you need atleast a Bachelors degree in a related field.

I hate how lots of these online sites make it more like a store where you can just add all the cert's you want into a shopping cart (buy 2 and save 20%!).
