Best thing i shot this deer season

Shot this the last weekend of deer season this year , all the colors and shades are as is , pic was taken with I-phone hence the poor quality but i was just amazed at the colors.

LOL , thats why its called "hunting" and not "killing"!!
Ive gotten much more selective these days letting the kids shoot mostly , i just enjoy being out their alone somtimes soaking up what nature has to offer

Lol I would kill for some deer sausage right now. I got a key to a friends house, think its time I raid his freezer lol. :headbang:

Your right some people shoot everything. Kids its ok, but adults should know better. We got a ranch I used to guide on but I personally dont hunt.

My little brother is an avid deer hunter, plus guides for 6 weeks in Pike county.
Gaunteed out shed hunting right now, that kid will drive 2 hrs away then walk 20 miles looking for antlers. His best is a $5ooo set he found last year.

Termendous photo. Absolutely beautiful.

I am an avid bowhunter. Been to quite a few places including Africa. Everything I have shot has been eaten. Even my 10' alligator in my living room. And yes some of the best things shot are vivid memories of pictures like that by camera and in my mind. Just sitting out soaking up the beauty of nature is amazing in itself.

Whitetail , I live in south Louisiana and we don't have any mulies here , hell a monster buck for this region is 200 pounds on the hoof. Over population , low predator and hunting pressure combined with a breeding season that is year round makes for very poor genetics.
I use to make a trip out west to hunt high desert mulies in Arizona but lower income job and wife and kids put a halt to that
