Just lost 20lbs. Waist/stomach is my weak area. I have a lot of work to do. Just trying to get an idea of where I'm at. My guess is 15%, but I could be way off. Thanks.

I'm no expert but 15 percent seem's pretty close keep up the good work man

I'd venture to say 14-16

Thanks guys. My goal is 12%. I'm actually cutting with creatine (first time trying it). It seems to help me preserve muscle. I don't use gear, so I'm trying to maintain as much as I can without getting too small.

BF Calipers are like $10.

"i don't use gear" "so I'm trying"....LMAO

fucking joke.

I would say 14-17% hard to determine that though. Keep up the hard work man. Looking good. Congrats on the weight loss as well

I'd say 14ish, but it's really hard to say. It depends on how and where you carry your bf. You have a little softness left in the waist area, but you could have more fat evenly distributed. Glutes usually carry some bf as well.

At the end of the day, if your goal is physique related, it just doesn't matter. This is the most overused rating for physical appearance. As an example, I just had a Bod Pod test done yesterday and it shows 11.1%. If I posted a photo today everyone would say closer to 15%. I carry fat in my waist and chest. All other areas get very lean. Everyone is different and some have genetics that allow them to look leaner at higher bf levels. Again, from a physique point of view the mirror and pictures are ALL that matter.

BF percentage is a good tool if you actually track composition over time. In this case you need a fairly accurate (or at least relatively consistent) method of measuring. The idea is to track lean mass, and fat mass to see how composition is really progressing. It's also somewhat useful in determining a starting calorie level for a new diet. But even in this case, a ballpark is more than adequate.

Thank you sir. I appreciate the honesty. It sounds like we're similar with our fat distribution. Everyone in my family has a weak lower stomach area. When I was a kid and 150lbs, I remember having a pouch there. It sucks when you're actually technically leaner than you look. No excuses though. I'm going to keep working at it!
