Bicep tendonitis

This might be unorthodox but when I start getting bicep or tricep tendinitis flare ups I use dmso+thermaflex when I’m lounging around the house and equi-block preworkout. A little trick I picked up from my powerlifting coach back in the day and it seems to keep everything at bay.
 
Proper programming for longevity. Usually guys with longer limbs will be more effected ....
 
Rest helps tendinitis. Try stretching. If it progresses to tendinosis, then high rep eccentric curls and high dose of good fats like fish oil. It took me about 6 weeks to clear.
 
Your tendon is the SYMPTOM. You rolling it is going to inflame it. 100% your shoulder blade on that side is unstable and upwardly rotated. Release the muscles that are rolling the anterior delt forward ie subscap lat pec minor scalenes. Go get worked on by someone who does AIRROSTI OR ART. stop taking chemicals to fix a mechanical issue

Can you go into more detail or provide some reading/watching/listening on this? I live in China, no ART available. I've had issues with the proximal (near the armpit) tendon for about 8 years now and my shoulder blade on the right side is indeed visually upwardly rotated at rest. There is also some clear scapular winging on this side. I read some stuff by Dr. Andrew Locke that helped somewhat, but the issue remains.

I have a lot of inflammation in the distal bicep tendon. Any advice?
 
Rest, ice, aleve. That if acute/subacute. Should take care of it

If is chronic good luck... id see someone to do ulrasound guided injection of 40-80mg depomedrol.

In general make sure you understand basic bicep tendon anatomy and its origins. Makes no sense to try to pull it off sup labrum by doing things like incline curls at a low angle or other nonsense that is just gonna result in injury without significant benefits.
 
I’ve dealt with it before and got my own ways to try and help treat but curious what others do or use?

I had it really bad in my left bicep tendon. Here is what healed it completely. A visit to my Ortho doc and he gave me a Kenalog injection. You have to use real light weights for at least 3 weeks. I did for 4 weeks just to be safe. It hasn't bothered me since. That was 3 years ago. Knock on wood. YMMV.
