What would stop a pro from using insulin?
Same reasons that would stop anyone taking it. But obviously most know it is needed to get far so have to take it and do so in huge amounts. I am sure there are many who don't take huge amounts but obviously will take boatloads of aas and gh. Everyone has their limits but unfortunately bodybuilding in the US is chemical warfare these days... so you got to do what is necessary. Genetics is a given cos there are obviously many who take just as much but look nowhere as good.

The high slin/GH look is so different than the high AAS alone look.
I know everyone has their own ideas, but to me personally, I feel I can tell who is on slin/GH and who isn't in a heartbeat.
Every Olympia competitor has the slin/GH look to me.
Alexi Lesukov is an example of an amateur who has that same look, IMO.
Obvious high slin/GH

Similar look in someone that hasn't had as much time with it(IMO) but will get there eventually....

Many of the IFBB world's competitors that are lighter weight have that high AAS without slin look, like Touri Mohammed.
These guys look more like classic BB'ers, who we already know did not use slin/GH.

Those guys look to me like high AAS use, similar to the classics....
I suspect there may be some GH use, but I doubt slin. If there is, I think doses are much lower.
The look of high AAS, before slin and GH came into the picture

both BigA and b-boy have post here that explains it pretty well , you bust your ass with perfect diet and training then add AAS and HGH , if you stop growing add more food drugs and insulin
repeat as needed until you reach your goal , go broke or die
Who gets bone dry anymore? Who looks paper-thin with fibers bursting through the skin?
Is it GH and SLIn and Peps or Not dieting as hard or both? How often do you the cross stiated triceps and sucked in inter-costals? Is it laziness or drug issues? Are the diuretics not as harsh?
Phil turned pro at 212 lbs --- I heard of course what he took was laughable and believe it to be true....I think Bboy was in that Jr Nationals the same yr,....
If GH and SLin in ecessive amounts is causing this "look" which to me looks like less stringent dieting and fullness --- why in the hell is being sought after?
I think everyone would agree the super dry look appears big on stage anyways and IMO more impressive.
I think we might be name on 1 hand 5 pros whom display that granite look current day....maybe...

World Amateur Championships = weight classes
IFBB Pro shows = Open (other than 202/212, and those guys typically display some pretty awesome conditioning, arguably better than the open)
