Big lumps

What causes big lumps (no pain) in my glutes? I am talking like way bigger than golf balls that won't go away. It it just scar tissue that builds up over time? From front view in mirror looks like horns growing out...

Tumors? (Lol I hope not).

I am not a medical professional, so I would say see a doc if you're concerned.

Do you have them in both glutes in the same spot? Is the spot where you normally inject? How long have they been there? Personally I've never heard of someone building up scar tissue like that(not to say it couldn't happen) but if its where you have injected in the past I'd be concerned that it is in someway the cause and go to the Dr.

It must be fat deposits that they forming a cyst
I have one too but at the size of a cherry ...
I don't worry about it... A friend of mine had the same thing to his back and because it was distracting he got it removed by a doctor .very simple process!

First off, if they have been building up over time, then possibly scar tissue buildup. Secondly, how much was being injected? Once the scar tissue has been building up and you keep injecting into it the oil is being incapsulated in the scar tissue thus the growth of the spot or area.

This is exactly what I would think.Is it same area of your injections.

I wanted to keep them, but it was a work thing. Apparently horns are "against employee dress code." Pfft. What do they know?

Bad gear, poor injection technique. I always found glute shots to be tricky solo.

I stick to delts, tri's, and quads.

Getting back to this post. If it is scar tissue it's time to start getting some type of deep tissue massage to start breaking up the scar tissue and release any oils that might be imbedded. Just my .02 worth.
