Just my 2 cents- and for the record and transparency, I’ve worked with Paul on more than a few occasions and projects, and consider him a friend and mentor.
I’m just a guy, trying to learn more about bodybuilding, fitness etc and share what I can on my podcast/ instagram etc. Paul was kind enough to help me, guest and collaborate on stuff, and share his insights and experience, for absolutely zero personal gain- simply because he could. I’ve always found him to be tough but also friendly and fair. He has offered advice and assistance on many occasions, unprompted- in my experience, an absolutely rock solid individual with great character and principles.
Of course, none of us will ever agree 100% with each other, but whenever we have had a disagreement, it’s turned into a healthy debate, never a pissing contest- and I honestly can’t recall a single incident where I would say he was narcissistic, condescending or disrespectful- quite the contrary.
I absolutely understand that the content we put out there as content creators is not everyone’s cup of tea always, and people are passionate especially with the topics and activities they love- but my point is that I believe he is a straight shooting person of good character, and in no way do I see any intention to mislead or misrepresent what he believes- and that to me, that goes a long way.
Similarly with Todd, I also feel we’ve become friends, and I know his personality certainly rubs a lot of people the wrong way- but I also think he truly believes in what he puts out there- it’s just his style is far more direct and confrontational than mine- but again, I don’t detect malice or ill intent- and I’m ok with agreeing to disagree with people as we explore topics and hopefully learn more.
Anyway, my 2 cents. It does take a LOT for me to dislike a person, to be fair. You have to do some actively negative stuff for me to write someone off.
