There was a rumor a few years back that he had kidney issues. I remember he lost about 60 lbs or so.

I think he could. He needs to leave that gym and his prep coach. He has the genetics but he isnt doing it properly come stage time. I should have said he has the genetics and yeah Ronnie is an overstatement... I should have said next Phil Heath bc Ronnie is miles ahead of all others all time at his best

I think the idea that Ramy always misses his peak or that he needs a different coach or peaking protocol is complete baloney. The judges have simply preferred different guys with different structures. He could have won the Arnold with not too many complaints. Look at high quality pics from there and compare the conditioning and dryness to the other guys. He was in shape. Of course he could peak slightly better but that is true of everyone at every show.

Look at Bonac's and Dex's ass and compare to Ramy. Are Dex and Bonac harder? I don't think so, pretty similar and all could be more crisp. Morgan Aste looked more grainy but that's genetics and you can't really force that.
