I used to train with a guy who had 33" quads. I asked the secret. He said he learned from Tom Platz that it's very important to have two squat workouts pet week; one day with extremely heavy weight using perfect form in the 6 rep range, and another squat day using weight that you can barely do 20 reps perfectly. Light day, heavy day alternation was key.
lets all just follow his routine and we will all have Olympic genetic caliber legs. how easy!
the workouts may or may not be true, can almost guarantee the diet isn't... doesn't matter really.
as Dennis James said while training him, there is no secret sauce. dude just has great genetics for this sport.
