I respect him greatly for being honest about getting 'assistance' from your doctor for hormone therapy instead of trying to BS people claiming to be doing things all natural.
I disagree about the building muscle part. No way can I look like I was in my 20s or 30s. Can you look good and have decent muscle when you get older? Without a doubt. Of course if I took a ton of steroids, things change then.

u cant "disagree" with facts. studies have proven older men can increase muscle mass. im not gonna go thru and post links but go on "stronger by science" site and look it up.
now, how much and how fast is not gonna be anywhere near younger guys but trt is amazing when u have the levels of a guy 20 years younger. THAT is a game changer for us older folks.

Maybe for people who never touch a weight in their lives and didn't eat good, but that doesn't apply to guys who been working out for years. Bill Grant looks great at 72, but he looks no where near his prime. Your muscles go into atrophy as you get older. Look at Kevin Levrone, guy goes back to juicing and went into 2 shows. He was not close to his prime and he is around my age. You can not work out for years and expect when you get around 60 to keep building muscle. Also, take steroids out of the equation too and train natural and I bet you shrink up when you get older.
I do believe though you can look better then anyone your age through weight training and eating good.
Bodybuilding is the true Fountain of Youth! How well it works for you though will depend on your genetics, past history, diet and supplement use. It does stave off many of the detriments of aging. My Dad lifted into his early 80's!!
your brother in Christ,
Lucky
PS I met Jack LaLanne once when he was in his 70's and he still looked amazing.
